Looking to attend a business networking event in Yaxley, Peterborough to promote our business?

Here at Creative Content Company, we don’t think that business networking should be boring. This is why we run free Business Networking Celebrates events in and around Peterborough. To show how ‘non-business’ our business networking can be, we thought we would celebrate National Potato Day. We are pretty sure no other business networking groups will be running an event like this. So, what can you expect from Business Networking Celebrates National Potato Day?

The event will run from 3pm until 5pm. Between 3pm and 3.30pm attendees are welcome to network informally with other attendees. The bar will be open for drink purchases too. At 3.30pm we will hear from the hosting venue. This will be followed by elevator pitches. All attendees will get up to 1 minute to promote their business to the room.

We believe that people buy people. This is why we throw in something a little bit different. Once the pitches are done each attendee will share their favourite way to cook potatoes or their favourite potato meal. It’s just a little fun and an icebreaker. This is followed by a group photo and more informal networking. The event officially ends at 5pm, but attendees are welcome to stay and enjoy more networking and drinks.

So, how is this Business Networking Celebrates National Potato Day? During the free business networking event in Peterborough attendees will be given a selection of potato treats including golden sweet potato fries, truffle fries and skin-on fries. These are being supplied free of charge by the hosting venue which is Dom and his team at Lancaster Lounge in Yaxley.

We run our Business Networking Celebrates events to support the local business community. As an online marketing business, we organise and market these events for free. The hosting venue then gives us the space and, in some cases, an extra treat for free to all attendees.

During the Business Networking Celebrates National Potato Day event photos and videos are taken of the venue and attendees. These are then shared across socials after the event. This helps to further promote the venue and attending businesses.

The Lancaster Lounge has very kindly hosted our event before, almost 2 years ago. However, they have since expanded and have a stunning outside area which we are hoping to make the most of at this event, weather dependent.

A limited number of spaces are available for businesses to bring and put up their own banners. This is at a cost of £5 per business, for 1 banner. This banner space can be booked when you book your ticket.
