Join us for the AOOS stakeholder event, bringing professionals and partners together to hear young men’s views and experiences.

Join us for the final-year stakeholder event for Authoring Our Own Stories (AOOS), bringing professionals and partners together to hear directly from young people and reflect on how their experiences can shape future support.

This year’s work builds on last year’s AOOS project with young women, which explored their experiences of violence against women and girls (VAWG).

The project has continued by supporting young men to share their own perspectives and experiences, including their views on safety, stigma, mental health, belonging and the spaces available to them.

The event will share the young men’s consultation findings, their words and creative work, including The Mask We Wear. It will also offer professionals and partners an opportunity to reflect on what young people have told us and consider how we can respond.

Date: Monday 30 November 2026

Time: 4:00–5:30 pm

Venue: Council House, Plymouth

This event is intended for professionals and stakeholders working with Children and Young people. Please register for a free place.
