A hiking and glamping adventure departs from Plymouth railway station for the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. The trip takes place on 28 May 2027. Tickets are priced at £109.05.
This adventure takes us to the wild west of Cornwall to the Rame Peninsula "Cornwall's forgotten corner" a beautiful and rugged landscape.

This adventure takes us to the wild west of Cornwall to the Rame Peninsula "Cornwall's forgotten corner" a beautiful and rugged landscape of tidal creeks, sandy beaches, smugglers coves and country parks.
We hike iconic South West Coast Path rewarded with spectacular views and beautiful coves where we can stop for a dip to cool off en route, we visit secret smugglers bays ancient churches, Napoleonic fortifications and pretty villages dotted along the coastline.
Our Base is Wilderme, (a charity that provides much needed retreats for children with autism) a spectacular glamping site perched above Cawsand Bay next to the hub of Marker Barracks and the pretty village of Kingsand a 17th Century fishing village of narrow twisting streets and pretty pastel-coloured houses, waterfront pubs, and of course a stunning beach.

INCLUDES: 3 nights glamping in eco domes (3 people per dome) accommodated, 3 breakfasts, Pizza evening, pub dinner, BBQ evening, 2 guided hikes, transfer from Plymouth train station.
NOT INCLUDED: Return transport from London to Plymouth, lunches. There are plenty of options nearby, and an onsite self catering kitchen.
Accommodation: Sleeping in 3 person single sex Eco domes, composting toilets and two showers nearby, flushing toilets, further showers, and self catering kitchen 10 mins walk.
GETTING THERE: Trains from London Paddington Journey time around 3-4 hrs Train tickets are not included, we recommend you book well in advance (advance bookings are available 12 weeks before). Meeting point: Outside Plymouth railway station at 18:15 to take the taxi to Wilderme. Self drive - Address for Wilderme Earl's Dr, Cawsand, Torpoint PL10 1JB
GRADE: Intermediate well marked coastal path, with some rough eroded sections and some short ascents and descents.
Friday: 17:30 Meeting at Plymouth Railway Station, transfer to Wilderme glamping site. We will be greeted by our hosts and taken to our eco domes before Pizza from the onsite Pizza van.
Saturday: Hiking the south west coast path from Tregantle to Looe. This hike offers a rewarding experience with mix of dramatic cliffs, superb vistas of the English channel. We follow the rugged coastline past the pretty villages of Downderry and Portwrinkle to finish at picturesque Loo. En route we pass secluded beaches and smugglers coves where you will have time to relax and swim. At Loo, we have free time to explore this favourite tourist destination of Cornwall for centuries and a pub dinner before taking the taxi back to Wilderme.
16km 700m ascent, 5.5 hrs hiking time not including breaks.
Sunday Hiking, the south west coastal path, from Tregantle to Cawsand. Today's hike leads us from Whitsands bay, a 3 mile stretch of stunning beach, to Rame Head, a prominent peninsular topped with a medieval chapel offering a fantastic panorama across Plymouth Sound. Then following South West Coast Path we end our hike back at the campsite where we have a BBQ dinner and relax. 15km 550m ascent 4.5 hrs hiking time not including breaks
Monday: Transfer to Plymouth railway station for our train home (book your return train no earlier than 15:30) 9km 300m ascent 2.5 hrs hiking time not including breaks.
