Following the success of last year’s event, we are hosting this as an Open Space event facilitated by Improbable theatre company. This format means the agenda is shaped by the people in the room, giving you the opportunity to raise the issues that matter most to you, explore new ideas, and contribute to meaningful conversations. Whether you work in arts and culture, education, health, development, community organisations, or any related sector, we would love you to be part of the day.
Please be aware of the following details:
Catering: Refreshments and catering will be provided at the event including a vegetarian lunch at 13:00. Please, inform us if you have any dietary requirements or allergies on the booking form.
Event photography: Please be aware we will have a photographer to capture moments of the day to be used in online and offline Plymouth Culture’s communication marketing. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a member of staff know.
Neurodivergence: We welcome participants who have Autism or any form of neurodivergence. Open Space is always a 'relaxed performance'! Personal assistants and carers are always welcome to join.
Access Bursary: In order to ensure the event is as accessible as possible we have made tickets free of charge thanks to core funding and the generous contribution of our partners. Whilst there is no ticket cost to attend the event we understand that for some additional access needs incur other costs. We are delighted to be able to offer 10 access bursaries of up to £100 each. This bursary can be used to support costs such as travel and child care, for example.
To apply, all you have to do is email sabrina@plymouthculutre.co.uk with a short emailing telling us what support you need and how much it will cost. Please email your application by Thursday 27th August and we will let you know if your application has been successful by Monday 31st August.
