MEET THE Hosts/DJs! Your Incapable hosts, they're an eclectic bunch to say the least! The team tasked with all things vibes, a rag tag group of disc spinners and music makers, manning the decks all weekend, The Incapable Staircase Collective!  Setting up in the Garrison Gallery where they will stay, soundtracking your weekend from Friday through til Sunday night, when they'll be joined by the hottest new DJ collective In the Southwest - The Original Rave Chasers.  All genres taken care of here, from electronic jams, funk, 120+bpm grooves and ambient sounds to Grind, Doom, Noise, Punk, Alternative, and so much more. Original tracks melded with what you need to hear. Influences from the Mid 90s dancing in fields to all manner the underground electronic music scene had to offer. Expect High-energy jazz percussion and woven moments of electronic solitude, maybe a lil bit of Buddy Holly, or the Blockheads, who knows. Check the Incapable Staircase website for more info of fun & frolics on there! BANDS: Across Saturday evening... Love Fortress - hypnagogic five piece from Falmouth, Cornwall. Emerging band Love Fortress bring their alternative fortress psych hypnagogic rock to the Rame Peninsula! Compared to The Doors and other tripped-out 60s sounds with stylings of late 60s psych pop, skewering toward the absurdist. They are often seen wearing nice shirts.⁠ Our DJs are excited to FINALLY see them live, and what a place to see them! Grace Lightman - ethereal retrofuturistic Alt/Pop Fresh from touring with Gabriella Climi and having previously supported the likes of Snow Patrol & Westerman, Grace Lightman’s melting pot of musical styles makes its way to the Patchwork Studios stage! Through hypnotic hip hop beats, jazz piano melodies, shiny synths and atmospheric ambience we'll get more than just a glimpse of Grace's ethereal, other-worldly performance.  Dart Splitter - 4 piece Nu-Metal band from Plymouth Consisting of members from local emo-punk outfit In August and nu-deathcore band Lacerta, you can expect a whole lot of headbanging grooves and emotive lyrics. A new project still its early stages, they are a band worth noting offering something new to the local scene. FFO: Karnivool, Vower, Vola, Linkin Park "Spitting out riffs to send you kicking in the pits" - DartSpitter est.2026 Soren Bryce - Raw and enigmatic expression crafted by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of Tummyache.  Having recently played support to The Maccabees at The Eden Project, Tummyache’s Soren Bryce arrives atop this hill of ours to bring their DIY sound to Maker Heights. Falling somewhere between Adrienne Lenker (Big Thief) and Kurt Cobain, Soren has managed to find space in both the UK and US scenes, where they toured with La Dispute last year. Bryce’s music pulls no punches; her lyrics confront issues of class and inner conflict, inviting listeners to face the realities she lays bare. NatJacobT - Plymouth based moody Folk Alt-popperNatJacobT is a Plymouth artist fusing moody folk and alt-pop, delivering emotive originals and vibrant covers. For those who love music that tells a story of love, loss and hope. Be sure to catch his latest release “The Bloom and The Burn” on Spotify. See you up the hill. -------------------------------------------- Patchwork Studios operate a diverse and inclusive programme of creative events. From firm festival circuit favourites, undiscovered local acts fresh on the scene, and underground DJs from across the region, to some of the most exciting acts smashing into the national limelight; you’ll find it all up at Maker Heights. These events vitally support our rural community offerings, helping us to improve social integration, while also celebrating culture and inspiring creativity. Between April and October, camping is available separately via Maker Camp website. Our Tavern within the venue is open until late during show nights, dishing out all the finest local tipples to keep you hydrated, plus Garrison Gallery are often serving up a storm of cocktails within their magical art-adorned walls next door. Lil Pizza Heaven are usually parked up on site on a Saturday evening too to keep you fuelled. Why not make a weekend of it while you’re here? The Canteen opens at 9:30am the next morning for coffee and breakfast, and during the camping season, you'll find delicious homemade scran to keep your bellies full into the evening, over by the campsite entrance. The twin fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are only a short walk away, as are their lovely beaches, and the Southwest Coast Path runs straight past too.
