Make your own unique summer-inspired fused glass piece. Suitable for everyone from age 5 to adult

In this fun fused glass taster session, you will use top-quality Bullseye glass to make some beautiful spring-inspired fused glass. You will have the choice of making one of the following options during this class: a 10x10cm fused glass picture or coaster or a 20cm x 5cm suncatcher.

Annette Daly, a professional glass maker and tutor will be on hand to help bring your ideas to life in glass. Although glass cutting is not required for this short session, you can have a go at this fun skill if you wish. There will be a wide selection of top-quality Bullseye glass and accessory glass for you to use, some of which is exclusive to Annette Daly Glass.

This course is suitable for both adults and children (from 5 years +) and no previous experience of glass is required. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. (Accompanying adults can either book their own space and make their own glass picture or come along for free and just supervise their child/children).

Your glass art will be fired in a specialist glass kiln after the course and will be available to collect from City Business Park about 2 weeks later or it can be posted to you (postage costs are charged at cost).

The course will be run in a small group to ensure lots of individual attention and is subject to a minimum number of people attending. If less than the minimum number sign up to this workshop, you can transfer to another session or get a full refund.

Next steps – Annette runs longer and multi-part fused glass courses which will enable you to make larger and more complex pieces and to also learn more in-depth skills. She also runs Fused Glass jewellery courses which range from short tasters like this one up to a multi-part Foundation course run over 4 weeks.

Venue: The workshop will take place at my Plymouth studio (Unit 70, City Business Park, Somerset Place, Stoke, PL3 4BB.) There is some free parking on streets nearby or lots of low cost parking at City Business Park. Please arrive 5 -10 minutes before the workshop is due to start.
