Join us for a special World Migratory Bird Day walk on Canford Heath Nature Reserve.

As the Redwings begin to arrive, the finch and pipit migration is already in full swing overhead. Siskins, linnets, skylark and woodlark are also passing through at this time of year. Canford Heath is a great place to try and spot some of these overhead migrations

Our ranger led walk will explore the heath's diverse wildlife while highlighting and celebrating some of the extraordinary journeys many bird species make each year.

This gentle walk is suitable for all ages, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Just be sure to wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
