Missed out on the London Marathon Ballot? Never mind the ballots, here's London Calling, our special Not the London Marathon event! Set on the North Dorset Trailway, with fabulous views of Hambledon Hill and the River Stour, and taking you past Shillingstone Station (1863-1966), this is a mixed terrain event suitable for all abilities. London Calling consists of an 'out and back' route along the trailway, offering participants the opportunity to choose their own distance, from 5K to ultra-marathon. All finishers of one lap or more will receive a very nice London-themed metal medal.

We offer flexible rock n roll start times between 8am and 9.30am. Just turn up when you're ready to run. All participants to finish by 3pm (maximum 7 hours). Number pick-up is on the day at race registration before you start the event. The event starts & finishes in the grounds of the Big Yellow Garden Bus Project community gardens, where there is plenty of space to get comfy for the day; bring a chair, bring a rug, set up your kit & enjoy the day with friends*, your running group** or just soak up the atmosphere. We'll be playing our on-theme playlist tunes throughout the day.

We will have our Run DMC (aid) station at the start/finish of each lap, offering drinks & a wide range of sweet & savoury snacks. Yes, including roast potatoes & cheese! There will also be an area to leave your own items. Please note we are cupless & do not provide plastic cups; please bring your own.

Toilets are available at the start / finish area.

Parking is available at a cost of £6 a car (see below).

We're partnering with the Big Yellow Bus Garden Project, a local charity kindly hosting our start/finish. You can help support their latest project by making a donation when you enter this event (more info at checkout). We will also be taking donations on event day.

Final instructions will be sent out via email before the event with full race day information. Laps are a 5.3km / 3.28 mile, out and back, course.

Please note, as per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants ages 20 or under.
