It will feature a short performance of some of the poems, an interview with Cally Ann, and audience questions, followed by a book signing

Cally Ann Kerr is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Portsmouth, and also a performance poet and proud trans woman. Her new book, Cannon Events, is a collection of twenty poems charting the joy and rage of the first year of her transition, leaning to live authentically in a society that is increasingly hostile to her existence.

The launch will feature a short performance of some of the poems, an interview with Cally Ann, and a chance for audience questions, followed by a book signing.

There will also be drinks and nibbles!
