Sharing a space with new people is a big part of uni life—and it doesn’t always come naturally.

Common Ground helps you build the Restorative Practice skills which include communicating clearly, handling disagreements, and creating a better living environment.

You’ll leave with:

✔️ Reflective and restorative skills that help beyond uni

Plus a chance to meet others across halls and get some freebies.

Training sessions will be hosted every other month, with the opportunity to join reflective focus groups in between training sessions.

At each session we will start with training, followed by real-life scenarios to practice your skills and then the opportunity to mingle.

This event will be taking place in Meeting room 1 of the Student Union (Neptune Building). There may be photography taking place at this event. Please speak to our RAs, if you do not consent to photos being taken.
