There is a lot happening across construction right now. From skills shortages and rising costs to new technologies, changing expectations and the everyday challenge of finding the right people to work with.

But sometimes what's missing is simply an opportunity to get everyone in the same room.

That's why Rachael Smith of Light House Studio (https://light-house-studio.com/) and Fareham Innovation Centre are bringing together people from across the local construction community for a new quarterly construction networking event.

This isn't a conference and there won't be a packed agenda of presentations. It's deliberately designed to give you time to meet people, have useful conversations and build relationships.

Why are we doing it?

Following the success of our The Future of Construction and the Hampshire and Solent Construction Partnership Round Table events this year, one thing was clear: there's a real appetite for more opportunities to bring the local construction community together.

We want to keep that momentum going by creating a regular, informal space for people across the sector to connect, build relationships, share ideas and help move the construction community forward.

What to expect

Most of the two-hour session will be dedicated to informal networking.

Rachael Smith of Light House Studio (https://light-house-studio.com/) will also give a short five-minute introduction explaining why she wanted to create the quarterly event and her hopes for building a stronger, better-connected local construction community.

Then it's over to you.

Come with some business cards, meet people you don't already know and see where the conversations take you.
