For movement artists, dance practitioners, producers, programmers and artists of all disciplines. An afternoon of presentation, discussion and connection.

Ideas Cypher is the main conference day within Motus Lab and Ideas Cypher, part of Rawkus City 2026, Funk Format's free two-year hip hop arts programme for Portsmouth and the Solent. It follows the morning's Motus Lab session at the Luminarium, and leads into the free Rawkus City Festival Day at Guildhall Square on Sunday 13 September.

The day begins at the Green House community hub and the Luminarium at Victoria Park, PO1 2BG, before moving to the Guildhall for lunch at 1:30pm and the afternoon programme. Full timings are in the agenda below.
