A relaxed monthly networking lunch for women who understand the ups and downs of self-employment and the power of community.

Welcome to Lark Lunch Break!

Free monthly networking for women who are self-employed or starting a business.

Lark Lunch Break is your monthly chance to step away from your laptop, share a meal, and connect with other women who understand what it’s like to build a business.

No pitches or pressure, just genuine conversation over lunch.

It’s a friendly, informal space for women business owners, especially those facing extra barriers like caring responsibilities, health conditions or low income, to take a breather, meet other women who understand the challenges of running a business, and feel encouraged to keep going.

Lark Lunch Break takes place at The Host Café (https://www.stlukessouthsea.church/the-host-cafe), which offers a lovely range of affordable food and drink. The café sits just next door to St Luke’s Church, where you’ll find The Host Space (https://www.thehostspace.co.uk/) co-working area.

If you’d like to work before or after the event, you can co-work there for £5 for four hours when attending Lunch Break.

🕊️ About The Lark Network

The Lark Network is a Portsmouth-based community supporting women and non-binary people to start and grow their own businesses.

We know that self-employment can be exciting but also challenging, especially if you’re balancing caring responsibilities, health conditions, or confidence barriers.

Our mission is to help female founders sing while they fly, building businesses that fit their lives, not the other way around.

You’ll find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MyLarkNetwork), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/mylarknetwork/) and LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-lark-network/), where we share updates, inspiration and opportunities to connect.
