Build homes for native oysters as part of the Final Straw Foundation's native oyster restoration project.
Final Straw Foundation is helping to restore populations of the native oyster and bring back the environmental benefits that they provide. This keystone species improves water quality, boosts biodiversity and captures carbon. We are reintroducing 20,000 native oysters back into our waters this Winter and need help to assemble and cable tie homes for them.
Please join us from 9am-12pm at Emsworth Community Centre on the 9th and 16th of October to build oyster homes.
All training and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments.
