Help shape the future of our coast and seas!

Aged 16-35? Live on the Isle of Wight? Join us for a hands-on marine workshop exploring the challenges and opportunities facing our coast and seas, and help shape the future of the South Coast.

We’ll start with a practical session on the beach, getting out into the marine environment and exploring some of the issues and opportunities we experience here on the Isle of Wight. We’ll then head indoors for a creative brainstorming session, using what we’ve seen and discussed to think bigger about what could be achieved across the South Coast.

Your local knowledge, experiences and ideas will help inform the development of the South Coast Marine Recovery Project delivery plan.

We’re looking for big, blue-sky ideas that could make a real difference to our coasts and seas, alongside practical steps, opportunities and leverage points that could help turn those ideas into action.

You don’t need to be a marine expert to take part. Whether you’re passionate about wildlife, fishing, recreation, conservation, climate, coastal communities — or simply enjoy spending time by the sea — your perspective is valuable.
