We are delighted to announce a special Cowes 200 afternoon free concert by His Majesty’s Band of the Royal Marines (Portsmouth) who’ll be bringing a rousing performance of all the concert classics to the Lawn Bar main stage on Thursday 6th August at 3pm. What you need to know: The concert is free, but maybe subject to capacity. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Bring a picnic chair if you want to sit. We only have a limited number of garden chairs and tables on the lawn. The concert lasts about 1 hour. You may not bring food or drink in to the venue, sorry. We have licenced bars available and food service outlets available. The Northwood House Tea Garden is open from 2pm for pre-concert teas, cakes and sandwiches. You can pre-order a boxed afternoon tea for collection from the Mermaid Lounge Bar from 2pm. See details below. We offer event general event parking for all Cowes Week events on our Ward Avenue field. It costs £5 for the afternoon after 2pm if required . Please pay on the gate or advance below if you wish too. Pre-order our Thursday cream tea & drink to enjoy during the performance and save up to £2.95 per person! We’re offering a special pre-ordered Cream Tea in a box for those who want to book in advance: The cream tea will feature 2 freshly baked home-made scones, plus a portion of clotted cream, strawberry conserve and butter, served in an eco-friendly craft cardboard box. Sorry, but for this event we are unable to provide alternative dietary options, although some will be available on the day at the Northwood House Tea Garden Lawn.
