Welcome to the last Sunset of Regatta week 2026!!! Sunset Saturday is the final evening to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of the historic event!! Grab a drink and watch some fantastic live music whilst the sun comes down at the amazing setting of Northwood House. After a 2 year hiatus local favourites PLASTIC MERMAIDS will be sailing onto our stage! AND WE CAN’T WAIT! Here’s what Rough Trade have to say about them! Plastic Mermaids are a UK band hailing from the Isle of Wight. Comprised of talented members Douglas Richards, Jamie Richards, Chris Jones, Chris Newnham, Tom Farren, Fox Rawding and Emma Wilkinson they bring their unique sound to the music scene. With their captivating melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, Plastic Mermaids have gained a loyal following. Their innovative approach to music sets them apart and ensures that each track is an unforgettable experience for listeners. Formed in 2015, Plastic Mermaids quickly made waves with their distinct blend of genres. By the end of the gig you might have cried, danced and everything in-between (maybe all at the same time) as Plastic Mermaids take you through a journey of old familiars and fresh new music. Once you’ve been swept through the emotional maelstrom and hopefully made it out the other side, you are cordially invited into Northwood House for the afterparty — “CLUB MERMAID”—where you can dance the night away. This is FREE to enter with your ticket but will have a strict capacity so it will be first come first serve, and then one in one out once capacity has been reached. THIS WILL ALSO BE STRICTLY 18+. So, you can swan off into the night or come inside for a bit of a boogie. We will have an excellent DJ soon to be announced, so watch this space… This is a fully licenced event with all event bars on the lawn open from 6.30pm for the duration of the evening. Great food on site will be provided by our catering partners. The main concert is an outdoor standing concert event, with only limited garden furniture seating available on a first come first served basis situated on the peripheries of the main standing area. The all-weather Mermaid Loung e Marquee with lounge seating is available to book to enhance your experience, with exclusive access to it’s own event bar, guaranteed access to the after party at club mermaid is also included in the VIP tickets. Seating packages are only available in multiples of 4 people with welcome drinks included. Direct stage viewing is limited from the marquee while seated, but a reserved viewing area (standing) is available exclusively for Mermaid Lounge guests. The Lawn Bar will be open as normal on Saturday 8th August prior to the concert between 12pm and 5pm (last orders 4.30pm for afternoon drinkers). • Please bring a printed copy of your Price is Wight email confirmation with you (or a digital copy) as your ticket. You’ll need to present it at the Box Office with your name and be checked off against the database of ticket purchasers to gain admission. Please bring a photo driving licence or bank card to prove name/ identity if requested. • Ticket purchasers are welcome to join us at the Lawn Bar for pre-drinks during the afternoon, but due to our requirements to reset the venue before the concert, leaving by 5pm and re-entering after 6.30pm will be required, sorry. • Sorry no camping chairs or blankets are permitted for this concert due to space limitations, so please don’t bring them. There will be some limited garden seating to the lawn peripheries and areas where concert goers can sit on the grass, but not in front of the stage. The VIP marquee package does contain lounge seating. • Children 14 and over can be admitted to this concert with a standard ticket but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 25 years of age) upon entry and at all times during the concert. No under 14 years old’s can be permitted, sorry. • No food or drink can be brought on to the licenced premises for this event, sorry. • A challenge 25 policy is in place for alcohol purchases. • Standard event security protocols apply. Bag and pocket searches by qualified SIA personnel should be expected upon entry where any permitted items will be removed from customers including food, drinks and illicit items which can be collected upon exit from the event from the box office. • The event has a zero tolerance drugs policy.
