Join the Trek Stores team for an epic day of gravel riding on the beautiful Isle of Wight!

We'll be meeting at Ryde Esplanade Railway Station at 10:00 AM on Sunday 11th October before heading out on a scenic 45-mile gravel adventure around the island. Expect a varied route featuring a mix of quiet roads, gravel tracks, bridleways, and even a section along the beach for a true Isle of Wight experience.

Important Information

Riders are responsible for arranging and paying for their own ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight. You can use https://www.wightlink.co.uk/ to go from Portsmouth Harbour Station to Ryde and book a bike on for free. There is a car park on Gunwharf Road around the corner https://w3w.co/basin.audio.hungry

Please arrive ready to ride for a 10:00 AM departure.

There will be a café stop approximately halfway through the ride, but riders should bring their own hydration, snacks, and nutrition for the day.

What to Bring

To ensure you're prepared for the ride, please bring:

Helmet (mandatory)

Suitable gravel or all-road bike

Spare tubes and puncture repair kit

Basic tools and spares

Front and rear lights

Hydration and snacks

Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions

Rider Expectations

This is a social group ride, but all riders should be comfortable covering approximately 45 miles on mixed terrain. The route will include gravel paths, bridleways, road sections, and uneven surfaces, so a reasonable level of fitness and bike handling confidence is recommended.
