What to expect :

Our meet-up starts at 10am with informal conversations over a drink and pastries. It will provide an opportunity to meet other people with similar experiences. It is a relaxed format providing a friendly environment to meet some new people.

There are two ticket options:

1)  Breakfast Social Coffee Hour - 10am-12pm : £12.50

Ideal if you just want to attend just the meet-up and meet a few other local people.

2) Breakfast Social and Society1 Coworking Day Ticket : £21.50

This ticket includes both the meet-up and a day of coworking at Society1. It provides the opportunity to stay on after the meet-up and join us at Society1 for the rest of the day. Bring your laptop, grab a desk and work with us for the afternoon. Tickets includes the freelancer meet-up and an afternoon of coworking 10am - 5pm. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are included in your afternoon work pass.

Arrive at your leisure from 9am. Our team will be on hand to register you and settle you in. If you haven't been before we can show you around and answer any questions.

Grab a desk and set yourself up to work for the day. Tea and coffee will be available, throughout the day, to help yourself to in our kitchen and social area.

At 10am we will host a breakfast social on the ground floor. Where we invite everyone who is in working on the day to come and join us for a coffee, some pastries and chat with other coworkers.

You can expect a relaxed and friendly environment where you can work and connect with others at your own pace with no awkward intros or presentations. If you want to simply come and work you are welcome to, if you want to come to connect with others working in a similar way then we can help with that too.

Our Coworking Day is perfect for anyone working from home either for themselves or a for a company. You may simply want a change of scenery or to meet some new people, we can help you get the most out of your day with us.

About us:

Society1 is an independent coworking space located in Preston City Centre. We offer hotdesking, dedicated desk space, meeting room rental, virtual offices, and events. When you arrive for an event at Society1 ring the buzzer near the front door to gain access then report to reception to get checked in.

Getting there:

Society1 is located on Cross Street, just off Winckley Square (PR1 3LT). It is easily accessible by bus and train.

If you are driving, public parking is available at Fishergate Shopping Centre or Avenham Public Car Park (closes at 8pm)
