CALLIS

Callis are a young art rock quartet from Todmorden who already have a storied pedigree with members who previously featured in Tuff Life Boogie favourites The Strange and highly rated psych band The Goa Express.

Callis channel the mood and atmosphere of early 80s acts like Chameleons and The Sound

and repurpose it for the 2020s. We're delighted to present them in Preston again after their triumphant debut at Preston Pop Fest in 2025.

SECRET ADMIRER

Secret Admirer was the solo guise of Chorley ex-pat Nick Ainsworth, who some of you may know from the Manchester based bands, Former Bullies, Dinner Party and Feel Right, but now it acts more as an umbrella for any recordings and live performances involving a larger group of Nick plus some top notch players from the Manchester indie underground.

Hard to believe Nick and his pals have been gracing stages around Manchester and beyond for over 20 years now. Current variant of Secret Admirer is adjacent to country period Byrds and Wilco. Top tier band you should take every opportunity to check out.

LOTTIE BRAZIER

Tuff Life Boogie is excited to present a new to us performer who is now working with Mary Epworth's esteemed Hand of Glory imprint. Lottie is a South London via Suffolk musician drawing on post-punk, ambient and pop lineages. Her debut album ‘On Course But No-one There To Salute You’ is dark alt pop exploring androgynous vocals, revelatory choruses and uncanny dreamworld synths, and has drawn comparisons to Nico, PJ Harvey and Syd Barrett.
