Join us for a magical Christmas market on Saturday 21 November, festive food and drinks, and our spectacular Christmas tree light switch on.

Following the wonderful response to last year’s event, Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston is delighted to welcome the local community back for our second Christmas Tree Light Switch On and Christmas Market.

This FREE festive celebration begins at 3pm, when our Christmas market will open across the hotel grounds. Browse twinkling stalls from local businesses and independent traders, offering Christmas gifts, handmade crafts and delicious seasonal food and drink.

Enjoy the scent of mulled wine and hot chocolate while soaking up the atmosphere with live music, festive entertainment and carol singing. Local charities will also be joining us, helping to spread some extra Christmas cheer throughout the afternoon.

🎅 Santa’s Grotto will be open from 3pm until 6.40pm. Children can meet Santa, take photographs and receive a special Christmas gift for £22 per child. Tickets can be booked through Eventbrite (with booking fees) or by calling our Sales Office on 01772 866 503 or events@dhpreston.co.uk. Places are limited, so advance booking is required.

🦌 Santa will also be joined by his beautiful reindeer, bringing an extra touch of North Pole magic to the afternoon. Families will have the opportunity to see them up close and capture some memorable festive photographs.

🎄 At 7pm, join Broughton Parish Church Choir for a festive singalong, leading into Santa’s countdown to the Christmas tree light switch on. Gather with family and friends as our Christmas tree sparkles to life, with entertainment continuing after the switch on.

🎶 For those wishing to continue the evening, join us in the bar after the tree light switch on for live entertainment, a drink and more festive cheer!

Wrap up warm, bring your family and friends, and join us for an afternoon filled with Christmas shopping, festive flavours, music and community spirit. We cannot wait to celebrate the start of the festive season with you once again! 🎁✨

🚗 Car parking is limited, so please car share or walk where possible. Thank you for helping us make room for everyone joining the festive celebrations!
