Launch of the new micro grant scheme for climate events in Preston. Come along to learn about the funding and how you can apply.

Preston City Council is launching the “Good for us, Good for the Planet” campaign this autumn. This campaign will champion how by adapting to a changing climate communities can live healthier and more fulfilling lives in harmony with nature. What is good for Us can be good for the planet.

To kick off the campaign we are launching a micro-grant scheme where community groups can apply for funding to host free public events that focus on climate, nature and well being. This campaign looks to bring together Preston’s arts and culture scene and the Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise sector for fun, impactful events for all Prestonians.
