We are getting together in Preston for a relaxed session focused on the challenge of reviving lost code and tinkering with ancient hardware. If you have an old project gathering dust, a piece of vintage gear that needs some coaxing back to life, or just an interest in the history of computing, this is the perfect space to share ideas and troubleshoot with others who speak the language. There is no formal agenda, just a group of us looking to preserve some tech history and share what we have learned along the way. This event is open to anyone in the Retro Bits and Bytes Collective, whether you are an experienced engineer or someone just starting to get curious about older systems. We want to keep the atmosphere casual and collaborative, so feel free to bring along any hardware or documentation you are currently working on, or just come by to see what everyone else is up to. It should be a great chance to catch up and solve a few puzzles together. If you think you can make it, please let us know by RSVPing so we can get a sense of how many people to expect.
