Get ready for a huge Bank Holiday weekend of indie anthems, nostalgia and good times at the Vernon Carus Britpop Weekender, taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May 2027. Join fellow music lovers for two days packed with Britpop classics, singalong favourites and a fantastic festival atmosphere. We promise to keep the bar well stocked throughout throughout the weekend and our usual food stalls will keep everyone well nourished. Saturday night sees an electrifying headline performance from the Absolute Stone Roses, bringing all the swagger and iconic hits of Manchester's finest, while Sunday is headlined by The Cortinas, delivering a set full of all the classic tracks from the Courteeners. Each day will also be showcasing the talent of a number of local artists. Whether you're reliving the glory days or discovering the soundtrack of the 90s and noughties for the first time, the Vernon Carus Britpop Weekender promises great music, great company and a weekend to remember.
