Come along to Pegwell Bay, where Nina from the Kent Wildlife Trust and the Birdwise East Kent team will guide you around the reserve.

This walk coincides with Birdwise East Kent's family funday. A day consisting of fun filled activities for the whole family. For this walk we are very lucky to have Nina from the Kent Wildlife Trust leading the group around the reserve. She will be stopping of at the seal colony where hopefully we will see some seals and we may be lucky enough to see some pups. Kent Wildlife Trust graze the site with a variety of animals such as highland cattle and Konik ponies which we hope to find on our walk. We will also be keeping our eyes peeled for any birds flying by or using the mudflats nearby.

Join us for a guided walk at the beautiful Pegwell Bay Country Park.

PLEASE NOTE- the walks on our fun day will be slightly different to normal walks. As always all ages are welcome, it will be tailored to families with children which is why it is slightly shorter then our normal 2 hour circuit. But all are welcome!

Pegwell Bay is a National Nature Reserve, so there'll be plenty of other wildlife for us to see along the way. Discover local wildlife, and enjoy some fresh air with fellow nature lovers. Perfect for all ages and a great way to learn more about this special spot and wildlife.

There are public toilets available on-site at the Country park, and we'll be meeting by the Birdwise Gazebo located near the carpark on the grassy area.

PLEASE NOTE- you can park at the reserve however it is pay and display, If you don't mind a short walk, there is free parking by the viking ship cafe (Sandwich road , Cliffsend CT125JB) and also by the Jet petrol garage.

Please bring appropriate footwear and plan accordingly based on weather. Please bring plenty of water and suncream if it's a sunny and warm day.
