For young people aged 16–25

Thinking about your future but not sure where to start? Whether you're looking for a job, considering further education, exploring training opportunities, or simply wanting to build your confidence, Future Focus Mondays at the Thanet Youth Employment and Skills Hub are here to help.

Join us every Monday for a supportive group session where you can gain practical advice, meet other young people, and take positive steps towards your goals.

What are Future Focus Mondays?

Future Focus Mondays are weekly drop-in sessions at the Thanet Youth Employment and Skills Hub, designed to help young people explore their options and move closer to employment, education, or training.

Our team will be available to offer guidance, answer questions, and help you create a plan that works for you.

How these sessions can help

At Future Focus Mondays, you can:

Discover your skills, strengths, and interests

Explore different routes into work, education, and training

Set realistic goals and create an action plan

Build confidence and motivation

Meet and connect with other young people in a welcoming environment

Receive support and guidance from the Thanet Youth Employment and Skills Hub team

What to expect

You are welcome to bring:

Your CV for advice and improvements

A job application you need help completing

A college, university, or training application

Questions about your future plans and opportunities

We'll provide practical support and guidance to help you progress towards your next step.

No plan? That's okay.

You don't need to have everything figured out before attending. Future Focus Mondays are a friendly and inclusive space where you can explore your options, develop new ideas, and gain the confidence to move forward.
