We’re delighted to be welcoming a familiar face on your TV, Good Morning Britain’s weather presenter, Laura Tobin.
We will be able to hear for ourselves just how passionate Laura is about meteorology – a subject that she studied right here in Reading, at the University – and what life as a weather presenter is like.
In fact, Laura was taught by our other esteemed guest, Professor Andrew Charlton-Perez OBE.
Professor Charlton-Perez is Head of the School of Mathematical, Physical & Computational Sciences at the University of Reading – and a Professor of Meteorology!
He was officially appointed his OBE this January at Windsor Castle – from Prince William – in recognition of his exceptional contributions to climate science and education.
From research to broadcasting, join us for an inspiring insight into the wide range of opportunities within meteorology.
Parking on site will be extremely limited so we recommend parking along Kendrick Road or elsewhere.
