About This Event

Basildon Summer Evenings will host an Explore through Sound Session with Yoga Reading at Basildon Park in Reading on 28 August 2026. The wellness event combines gongs, drums and voice to guide participants into a meditative state.

Let the evening dissolve into resonance. Gongs, drums and voice weave together to carry you into that liminal, limbic space between sleep and wake — a place of soft edges and quiet drift, where the body can rest and the mind can simply listen.

No skill or experience needed, only the willingness to lie back and let the sound move through you.

Bring a blanket, cushion (if you have one) and layers for this session. We have mats but if you prefer to use your own you can bring it with you.

Your ticket includes entry to Basildon Park so you can take time to wonder around the beautiful gardens, visit the house and enjoy refreshments in the warm evening.
