Join me to get your hands dirty with clay!
Whether you want to unwind after a busy work week, switch off from the daily grind, spend meaningful time with a loved one, or just have a fun jam session with friends — this workshop is for you.
What to expect
A relaxed, 2-hour hand-building session where you'll learn the basics of pottery, shape a piece with your own hands, paint it, and socialise along the way. Expect a short introduction to working with clay, followed by guided time to build something from scratch.
Charges and a few things to know about pottery as a craft
A £15 deposit per person is collected at booking to reserve your seat, will be deducted from the tuition. The workshop runs once 8 seats are confirmed — if we don't reach 8, you'll receive a full refund.
Tuition is £45 per person. This covers all materials, use of resources during the workshop, instruction and guidance, and refreshments — plus photos to remember the session by.
Aprons are available for £3 each — please add this when booking your seat.
If you found yourself to be a natural ceramicist and managed to produce several pieces, additional piece inclusive of glazing and firing is charged at £15 per piece.
Please note, size is limited due to cost of the materials and kiln capacity. Can be discussed during workshop or at the time of booking.
At the end of this fun pottery session, you can leave your piece to be fired and glazed in the kiln, which is included in the course fee.
You can collect your piece in 4 to 6 weeks time, in person at no extra charge, or have them couriered for an additional fee based on delivery location, weight and size. We'll confirm courier costs once the pieces are made.
Pottery is a skilled and sometimes unpredictable craft. While rare, pieces can develop crack, break or become damaged during firing and glazing. There's no 100% guarantee it'll come through perfectly, and that's part of the craft. We cannot offer full refunds on such cases.
Children attending: Children aged under 14 are welcome when accompanaied by an attending adult. Both child and adult must have their own booking.
