A book club for artists, makers and creatives

The Creative Book Club is a book club for those with creative tendencies of all kinds, held at Milk Bar. The group meets every 6 weeks to discuss a book but also if the themes influenced our creativity in any way.

Tickets are limited so please pre-book.

As part of the Book Club the Milk Team design a cocktail inspired by themes and flavours in the book, there is an option to buy this or a drink of your choosing direct from Milk on the evening if you would like.

8th December - FranKissStein by Jeanette Winterson

Inspired by Mary Shelley's gothic classic Frankenstein, discover this audacious new novel about the bodies we live in and the bodies we desire.Ranging from 1816, when nineteen-year-old Mary Shelley pens her radical first novel, to a cryonics facility in present-day Arizona where the dead wait to return to life, Frankissstein shows us how much closer we are to the future than we realise.
