On Monday, 30 November 2026, Pentahotel Reading will host Mates Rates Comedy Raw, an open mic night kicking off at 7:30pm. Five emerging comedians will share their unique styles, ranging from poignant storytelling to quick-witted one-liners. This event provides a platform for aspiring comics in a nurturing atmosphere. Mates Rates Comedy is proud to present Mates Rates Comedy Raw, Reading's No.1 stand up comedy open mic.

The show will take place at The Outlook, RG1 3BJ every Monday between 7:30pm - 9:30pm (door open 7pm).

If you've ever been curious about how stand up comedy is made, wanted to catch a star of the future or just fancied a great night of comedy this show is for you.
