The venueAbout Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC) NOTE: Entrance is by rear doors, via alleyway to right of RISC World Shop.
Located in central Reading near London Street, the International Solidarity Centre operates from purpose-built premises with discreet rear access via a nearby alleyway. This venue hosts supportive gatherings focused on wellness and fitness, such as mental health groups exploring Buddhist principles, creating a safe environment for community engagement. The spaces are designed to foster intimate connection rather than large-scale entertainment, accommodating smaller audiences who seek personal development and reflection. While primarily used for talk-based sessions, the atmosphere remains calm and contemplative, suitable for seated discussions or guided practices without the energy of a performance venue.
