This is a free dementia awareness event open to everyone in the community.

In the UK, unless something changes, dementia will affect one in every two people, whether by developing it themselves or caring for someone with the condition. Age UK and Dementia Forward are passionate about improving understanding and supporting families.

Join us to learn more about the signs and symptoms of dementia, how to support those affected, and what local support services Scarborough can offer. There will also be time to ask questions and chat with staff from Dementia Forward and Age UK North Yorkshire Coast and Moors after the talk.

Whether you are living with or caring for someone with dementia, work in dementia care, want to support clients or customers living with dementia, or just want to learn more, this session is for you.
