Join Boots On Adventures for an 8-mile winter walk through the beautiful countryside around Westerham, exploring a landscape packed with history, woodland, open commons and spectacular views.Starting at Hosey Hill, we’ll pick up sections of the Greensand Way and make our way across Crockhamhill Common and Hosey Common, taking in the changing landscape as we walk. Along the route we’ll discover the remains of Squerries Park Camp, an Iron Age hill fort that gives us a fascinating glimpse into the area’s ancient past.With the walk taking place in early December, the countryside will have a wonderful winter character, and the higher ground gives us some fantastic views across the surrounding Kent and Surrey landscape. It’s a great opportunity to get out into the countryside, enjoy some fresh air and discover a part of the Kent Downs National Landscape that you may not have explored before.Expect a varied 8-mile adventure, some great scenery, a little bit of history and as always with Boots On Adventures, and great company.Schedule
