Join Kerri Wolter of VulPro to discover vulture conservation, rescue, rehabilitation and research. Open to all. Plus bake sale fundraiser!

Location: Hadlow college AMU (animal management unit) Ashes Lane, Hadlow, Tonbridge, Kent, TN11 0AN

VulPro is a South African vulture conservation organisation founded by Kerri Wolter that rescues, rehabilitates, breeds, tags, and releases vultures, while also using education and research to protect wild populations. It has grown into a major conservation effort with hands-on fieldwork, public outreach, and volunteer opportunities.

For people interested in careers in conservation, VulPro is a strong example of how conservation work can include rescue, rehabilitation, field surveys, breeding programmes, education, and community engagement. It also shows that conservation careers do not have to be purely academic; they can be very hands-on and involve working directly with animals, volunteers, and local communities.

The event is open to everyone, so whether you're already interested in conservation, studying animal management, or simply want to learn more about vultures and the work being done to protect them, we'd love to see you there!
