Phoenix Rising Arts Club

Phoenix Rising Arts Club (PRAC) is all about community, creativity and learning together. Our workshops offer a relaxed and friendly space to explore clay and create at your own pace.

All workshop fees go directly back into the club to help run and maintain our shared space and resources.

Who is it for?

Complete ceramic beginners & those returning to ceramics

Creatives who want a supportive space to work on their own projects

No prior experience needed!

How do the sessions work?

Arrive with your ideas of what you'd like to create, and we'll help you bring it to life. There's no fixed lesson plan; you're free to explore, experimen, and make whatever inspired you.

We have a tutor and volunteers that are on hand for guidance.

Clay and use of tools

Glazes and underglazes

Kiln Firing

Opportunity to use a Potters Wheel

Guidance and peer support to learn handbuilding & potter's wheel techniques

You want to do your own art?

Come along for the camaraderie! Volunteer Tutor is on hand to help with other types of art. Their specialty is CERAMICS!

Please note: we do not have storage facilities for artwork. All pieces must be taken home after each session and brought back as needed.

We’re proud to offer excellent value compared to local courses, which typically cost £250–£400 and often don’t include kiln firing or glazes.

Eventbrite offers a Pay in 3 option via PayPal, allowing you to spread the cost over three monthly payments.
