About This Event

Pimp My Jeans runs at West Wickham Library on Glebe Way, West Wickham, on 26 October 2026. This multiskilled workshop allows participants to customise their jeans. Entry is free.

Customise your jeans in this multiskilled workshop

2 Billion Pairs of jeans are made globally each year. In the UK we send 235 million garments to landfill each year!

Extending the life of a garment by just 9mths can reduce it’s carbon footprint by 30%

Customise your Denim in this multiskilled workshop and give it a new life by adding patches, fabric paints, crochet or decorative stitches and save your jeans from landfill!

This workshop is aimed at teenagers 11-16 year olds.

Please bring a pair of jeans to upcycle, we will provide the materials and tools to complete your project. We will have some spare fabrics if you wish to practice before making a change to your own jeans.
