About This Event

Internationally renowned singer Professor Fay Hield is leading a groundbreaking research project exploring access to folk singing in England. Academics, folk singers and organisers will share findings and discuss developments over the first five years. Join us for an afternoon of exhibitions, talks and singarounds, followed by the premier of a newly commissioned group - Of These Folk - who will creatively explore the project’s findings. 2pm - Access Folk Exhibition opens and singaround 3pm - Accessing Folk - a presentation from the academic team about the project so far 5pm - Folk Organisers Network open meeting and singaround 7:30pm - Of These Folk - concert The daytime events are free, though we encourage you to book a place as capacity is limited. The evening concert is ticketed.
