These led rides by Cycling UK are open to all but ideal for beginners, people returning to cycling, or those who want more practice.

Sheffield Cycle Tours have partnered with Cycling UK to offer led group rides as part of the Big Bike Revival 2026.

These rides are suitable for everyone as the pace is slow and there will be plenty of stops on the way. We'll also stop for a rest and to buy refreshments and at our destination before returning back to the start.

We have limited cycle hire available for those who need a bike. If you cannot select a bike hire then we have sold out.

All that Cycling UK want in return is your contact information so they can send you 2 short surveys. The more people who complete the survey, the more funding they get, and the more free events they can sponsor!

Where do the ride start from?

This year there will be 2 different start locations. Saturday rides will start at 10am at Russell's Bicycle Shed (92 Burton Rd, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8BX) while Wednesday and Friday rides will start at 1pm at the Sheffield Train Station (Sheaf St, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2BP).
