Book launch event, in association with Sensoria Festival, for WYRD TV: FOLKLORE, FOLK HORROR AND BRITISH TELEVISION.  Featuring author and folk-horror scholar Dr Diane A. Rodgers in conversation with gothic television scholar Professor Helen Wheatley. A seated event in the gallery room at Sidney & Matilda in Sheffield City centre, expect an illustrated discussion of all things wyrd, weird and wonderful about 1970s-1980s television, how folklore was all-pervasive during this decade for both adults and children, and how television from this era continues to shape popular culture well into the 2020s.
