oft but sure, frances mistry is quietly carving a space for herself in the indie-folk world.

With her third EP released in May 2025, frances has stepped into an exciting year filled with new music, live shows, and deeper connections with her audience - sharing personal stories about her life and experiences, including her journey with autism. Inspired by the gentle honesty of artists like Clairo, Faye Webster and Beabadoobee , her songs feel personal yet familiar - little moments wrapped in melody.

The Brighton-based newcomer has been lauded by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders as a “proper, authentic artist”, chosen as Spotify’s Fresh Finds Artist of the Month of May, and played the BBC Introducing stage at The Great Escape 2025. With much more to come, she’s a name to keep an ear out for, after already opening for the likes of Paris Paloma and Alfie Templeman.
