About This Event

Join us each Wednesday for a free social walk led by our knowledgeable walk leaders. Each walk will be around 5 miles, depending on the route, starting from the Welcome Building in Woodcroft car park, and finishing at Longshaw Café. Social walks are a great opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and build your confidence walking in the countryside. Each walk will likely include mild ascent and descent. There may be some stiles, please let us know any access needs when booking. Dogs on leads are welcome. Due to the popularity of the walks, booking is strongly advised, though we welcome drop-in participants if there are spaces available on the day. Booked places will be given priority as there is a limit on our maximum group size. If you no longer need your booked place, please let us know by emailing peakdistrict@nationaltrust.org.uk or calling 01433 631757.
