Dust off your best Y2K fits and get ready for a serious party. Freshers Fest is bringing the noise to Foundry on Friday 25th September, and we are throwing way more than just a club night, as we're bringing you the ultimate live music 00s party experience.

Taking the stage to headline the night is 00s Reloaded, a powerhouse live band and four incredible vocalists who will be tearing through over 60 of the biggest anthems of the decade, remixed into non-stop, explosive live medleys.

Expect to hear live cover mashups of the absolute best 2000s artists, including: Beyoncé, Arctic Monkeys, Britney Spears, The Killers, Amy Winehouse, McFly, Shakira, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga, Panic! At The Disco, Jennifer Lopez, Sum 41, Gwen Stefani, Razorlight, Maroon 5, Natasha Bedingfield, My Chemical Romance, and Akon.

We are pulling out all the stops on the production, including confetti, immersive lights, custom video visuals, themed venue decor, and massive giveaways throughout the night.

ROOM 1

Come early and stay late as our resident DJs serves non-stop 00s throwback dancefloor fillers before and after the live party band. Expect massive singalong pop anthems, hands-in-the-air R&B classics, and guilty pleasure chart-toppers that will have the whole room screaming every single lyric.

ROOM 2

Uncover a goldmine of alternative 00s hits for those who want a completely different vibe. Expect iconic 2000s rave tracks, heavy-hitting dance anthems, and a massive dose of alternative indie/rock, pop-punk, and emo bangers to keep you bouncing all night long.

~ Get Home Safe

Take the Safety Bus home for Free. Speak to security on exit and they can direct you to wait for the bus. Shared ride home in the SU's electric powered Safety Bus, driven by one of the security team, within 2 miles of the SU

Veezu Safe Rides (0114 239 3939)Can't afford a ride home? Hand over your u-card to a Veezu driver who's take you home. The next day go to the SU Welcome Desk to pay the fare and collect your u-card.

Need to talk to someone? Ask for the Welfare team for peer to peer support on your night out.

Take breaks and pace yourself. If you're feeling overwhelmed, ask for the quiet room.

Our specially trained team will take your disclosure seriously - you will be listened to, believed and supported throughout the whole process and the reported person will be removed from the venue. Incidents can still be reported after the event.

The Students' Union has a zero-tolerance policy toward drug use at its licensed venues. Searches will be in operation, as well as sniffer dogs for some events.
