Description: Join Doncaster Ramblers on a 12 mile circular walk from Homesfield in honour of Sheffield's GHB Ward. Over the hills to Longshaw / Fox house then back to Homesfield. The hills and distance will make it a challenging walk for those experienced with this terrain and distance. GHB Ward is signigficant in terms of starting group walks. He led the first walk for working class people on the 2nd September 1900 which led to the formation of the Clarion Ramblers. Tickets: Use this eventbrite form to book.
