Stiff Peaks Burlesque presents a 6 week introduction to burlesque course - teaching you the basics and allure of the art of the tease

Over the course of 6 weeks learn a range of iconic burlesque moves, as well as some Stiff Peaks specials.

Open to complete beginners, we'll take you from stumbling bambi to a foxy fiend - or a captivating something if you're more comedy inclined!

Electra Haze, Rosy Cheeks and The Perilous Rose have been helping burlesque babies join our glorious glittered halls since the turn of the roaring 20s (the ones we're in, not the 1920s...). Alumni of Sheffield iconic Steel City Sirens, the Stiff Peaks were part of and contributed to building a fantastic generation of local burlesque talent. Now it's your turn to learn how to burlesque.

The course will take place over 6 weeks, each session focusing on a different technique and contributing to a group routine. Burlesque bebes are invited to perform the taught routine (as well as anything else you may wish to choreograph yourself with your new skills!) to a crowd of family and friends at the free end of course show case which will be at Factory Floor on October 29th.

Any specific props (such as gloves) will be provided, you will also be asked with advance notice to bring or wear certain items e.g coat or shirt
