Welcome to Sheffield Draft Night, an open mic for works in progress, readings, chat, and more.

Sheffield Draft Night is an open mic where writers read up to five minutes from their work in progress to an engaged audience. The event is open to readers, writers, editors, publishers, agents, booksellers, and anyone (+18) who wants to hear some new writing.

Light refreshments provided.

About your host: Author of Remembered, Curdle Creek, and six Penguin Random House Ladybird Tales titles, Yvonne Battle-Felton is a writer, novelist, podcaster, event host, Academic Director of the Creative Writing at University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education, and former commissioning editor (literary fiction) at John Murray.
