Join us for an afternoon of storytelling and camaraderie as we gather to celebrate the spirit of the Renaissance right here in Sheffield. This event is an opportunity for those of us who appreciate the wit, wisdom, and folklore of the period to come together, share a few tales, and enjoy some good company. Whether you are well-versed in historical verse or simply enjoy a good story told in a relaxed setting, there will be plenty of room for everyone to participate or just sit back and listen. We will be meeting to trade bardic tales and discuss the themes that shaped the era, keeping things informal and accessible for all. This gathering is meant for anyone in the community with an interest in history, literature, or just a bit of creative fellowship. It is a low-pressure environment, so please feel free to bring along a favorite passage or just yourself. If you are planning on coming, please let us know by hitting the RSVP button so we can get an idea of numbers for the venue.
