A volunteer-led walk will explore the parkland to educate participants about how Thomas and William Wentworth developed their estate. This workshop occurs at Wentworth Castle Gardens in Sheffield on 14 August 2026.
Head out into the parkland on a friendly volunteer-led walk to learn about the way in which Thomas and William Wentworth shaped their wider estate.
The route will take in all of the significant monuments and features in the parkland: the Duke of Argyll monument, the Rotunda, Queen Anne obelisk, Serpentine and Palladian bridge. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, meet others and enjoy the views and the wildlife.
The walk will include a chance to look inside the Rotunda and view the black & white geometric floor.
