Thomas Flinn & Co - Pop Up Shop II - 1st November 2026

Following the success of last year’s Pop Up Shop here in the steel city… we are pleased to announce we will be hosting this again. We promise to make this bigger and better and our hosts will once again be our neighbours at the Victoria (right next to our factory). You will be able to view and buy a wide range of our saws, Clifton hand planes and other favourites from our website.

We will be offering:

Saw Sharpening Demos - ask your questions and watch a master saw maker in action

Clifton Hand Plane Demos - Dave Planes will be showcasing our planes so you can try before you buy :-)

Alfie Haigh - For the Love of Wood. Lovely Alfie will be selling products he’s turned and can take commisions for any future work.

This year, we will have special guests, Ernest Wright who will also be selling their wonderful Sheffield made scissors. They are one of the last scissor makers based in Sheffield.

Kelham Walks will be doing a Neepsend walking tour too of the area so you can add this to your day if you wish. Booking will be on their own website (I will update booking link closer to the time): https://www.kelhamislandwalks.com/

The museum is open 11am-4pm on Sunday's and is free to enter (donations much appreciated). The museum celebrates Sheffield's industrial past and if you are lucky you may see the River Don Engine running. It's a large 425 ton steam engine. It's a real piece of machine that will wow you!

Don't forget also, our hosts, the Victoria offers an array of food and drinks and it would be great to support the venue. Teas, coffees, cakes, lunch items and even a glass of something stronger if you wish!
