Have your say on the new public artwork at Uriah Rennie Leisure Centre and help shape the final design through this community workshop.

We’re inviting local residents and members of the community to take part in a public art workshop for Uriah Rennie Leisure Centre.

The session is an opportunity to hear more about the public art project and help shape the artwork that will form part of the leisure centre. You’ll be able to share your ideas, views and local knowledge, and contribute to the development of the final design.

The workshop is open to everyone. You don’t need any previous art or design experience, we simply want to hear your thoughts about the area, the leisure centre and what you would like the artwork to represent.

Come along, have your say and help us create a piece of public art that reflects the local community and its identity.

What to expect:

A relaxed and informal workshop

An introduction to the public art project

An opportunity to share your ideas and local knowledge

Activities and discussion to help inform the artwork

No previous art or design experience required

The session will run from 2pm to 3pm at Springs Leisure Centre.

I’ve kept this welcoming and straightforward for Eventbrite, while making clear that this is a genuine opportunity to influence the artwork rather than an art class.
